About the House of Esther Project

The House of Esther is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to empowering marginalized women in Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR). Founded in June 2022 by Pastor Abel N’Goulou, our mission is to provide vulnerable women—widows, single mothers, and those in poverty—with the tools they need to achieve self-sufficiency and rebuild their lives. Through vocational training, spiritual guidance, and community support, we aim to foster hope, dignity, and lasting change.

Since our inception, we have impacted over 250 women, equipping them with practical skills such as sewing and cooking, which enable them to generate income and support their families. Our programs also offer emotional and spiritual counseling, creating a nurturing environment where women can heal and grow. Supported by CFTF, the House of Esther is committed to expanding its reach and deepening its impact.

As part of our Phase One Ministry Expansion, we are acquiring a permanent property to serve as a stable hub for our operations. This $47,400 USD initiative includes purchasing a house with facilities, constructing two new latrines, and covering additional costs. By moving from a rented space to a dedicated facility, we will enhance our capacity to train more women, introduce new programs like literacy and micro-business training, and strengthen our community outreach.

At the House of Esther, we believe in the transformative power of faith, skills, and community. Join us in our mission to empower the women of Bangui, helping them build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
